There are government regulations regarding Mayoral campaign contributions. As we understand a few key points: Individuals and businesses may contribute up to $325 per candidate, husband and wife may each contribute up to the limit, for a total of $650. For contributions of more than $100, contributor information is to be recorded and reported. The Missouri Ethics Commission website, www.mec.mo.gov details complete regulations for contributions and reporting.
